Removing the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Card

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
  3. Remove the adhesive tape that secures the antenna cables to the WLAN card. Figure displaying how to remove the tape that secures the antenna cables on the WLAN card.
  4. Perform the following steps to remove the WLAN card:
    1. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card.
    2. Remove the screw that secures the WLAN card to the computer.
    3. Remove the WLAN card from the computer.
