Understanding NVMe/TCP
Unisphere provides monitoring and management for NVMe/TCP directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.
NVMe/TCP is a NVME-oF technology that supports high performance with lower deployment costs and reduced design complexity. NVMe/TCP defines a new storage networking fabric for the NVMe block storage protocol over a storage networking fabric, and provides the capability of extending NVMe across the entire data center .
The Unisphere UI supports the following operations (on storage systems running
PowerMaxOS 10 (6079)) :
- View the NVMe dashboard.
- Configure NVMe/TCP using a wizard.
- View NVMe/TCP directors.
- View and configure NVMe/TCP endpoints.
- View NVMe/TCP ports.
- View and configure IP routes.
- View and configure IP interfaces.
