Removing all the devices from a SRDF/Metro group removes the corresponding SRDF/Metro configuration. The storage administrator can use the delete pair or move pair to remove all the device pairs except the final one. To remove that pair, and the SRDF/Metro configuration, the storage administrator uses the delete pair operation.
Once the SRDF/Metro group is empty, it is no longer considered to be a SRDF/Metro group. The group is now available for other uses such as a group of traditional SRDF devices.
