Installing the Processor Heat-Sink

Steps

  1. Replace the heat-sink processor in its slot. Tighten the captive screws to secure the heat-sink processor to the computer.
  2. Install the:
    1. heatsink
    2. processor fan
    3. palm rest
    4. hard drive
    5. optical drive
    6. keyboard
    7. keyboard trim
    8. base cover
    9. battery
  3. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
