View Dell VASA Provider storage capabilities

Storage capabilities define a specific set of storage characteristics that are guaranteed by a storage system. The storage capabilities defined by the Dell VASA Provider can be displayed in the VM Storage Profile view.

  1. Start the vSphere Client, and connect to the VMware vCenter Server.
  2. Select View > Management > VM Storage Profiles . The VM Storage Profiles view opens.
  3. Click Manage Storage Capabilities in the toolbar below the navigation bar. The Manage Storage Capabilities dialog box opens and displays a list of system and user-defined storage capabilities. The Dell VASA Provider defines the following storage capabilities:
