Shut Down a Windows-Based NAS Appliance
If the IPMI card is configured correctly, you can remotely shut down a Windows-based NAS appliance.
Prerequisites
- The IPMI card in the appliance must be configured.
- IPMI card information must be configured in Dell Storage Manager.
Steps
- Click the Servers view.
- In the Servers pane, select a Windows-based NAS appliance. The Summary tab appears.
- Click the IPMI tab.
- Click Power Off. The Power Off dialog box appears.
- Click OK. The appliance is powered off.
