Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. battery
   2. optical drive
   3. keyboard
   4. base cover
   5. WLAN card
3. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Unroute the WLAN cable [1].
   2. Peel the adhesive tape [2].
   3. Lift the locking tab [3].
   4. Disconnect the eDP cable [4].
   
4. Flip the computer.
   
5. To remove the display assembly:

   NOTE: : Place the chassis on the edge of a table with the display facing down.

   1. Remove the three M2.5L8 screws that secure the display hinge to the computer [1].

      CAUTION: : Practice caution when handling the LCD HUD by supporting it with one hand, while working on the hinges.

   2. Lift and remove the display assembly [2].
