Alex Barretto
Senior Vice President, Services, Dell Technologies
Alex Barretto leads Services Portfolio, Services Technology and Client Services globally. The Services Portfolio spans Core Infrastructure, AI Infrastructure, Commercial and Consumer client, and is responsible for developing and monetizing traditional and digital services across deploy, support, managed and consulting offerings and all go-to-market routes. A technology and AI-first posture drives Dell Services modernization internally and throughout the portfolio. Within Client Services, Alex is responsible for operational execution globally, delivering customer outcomes and product quality with a maniacal focus on customer success.
Alex brings more than two decades of experience across technology, consulting and engineering. Previously, Alex held various roles within Dell Services, including spearheading the services component of Dell’s server business transformation, driving the services integration of EMC and leading product engineering.
Prior to joining Dell in 2010, he was a management consultant with Bain & Company, where he advised technology clients on corporate strategy, operations and M&A. Earlier in his career, he held engineering and financial roles at Motorola and KPMG.
Alex holds an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He lives in Austin, Texas, and enjoys traveling, hiking and exploring the outdoors with his wife and three children.
