Dell Precision Partner Program – Unlocking the Power of the Workstation

We announced updates to the Dell Technology Partner Program today, a global program that helps partners build innovative and highly competitive solutions on Dell platforms. Dell Precision’s strategic ISV (independent software vendor) and IHV (independent hardware vendor) partners are a key part of this program. They work closely with Dell to architect, design and test joint solutions, resulting in the smartest design and highest performance and dependability for our customers.

First launched in 1997, Dell Precision was the first product line Dell designed for a specific customer segment, with their unique requirements and goals in mind – and truly marked the beginning of Dell’s solutions-focused journey.  From day one, we understood the importance of establishing key software partnerships for the Dell Precision business to ensure our full workstation portfolio was not only compatible but designed and optimized for the critical software applications these customers require.  We now have over 30 key partners delivering specialized software and hardware across a variety of industries. The Dell Precision partner program includes the following strategic technology partners and more than 70 product certifications:

  • Media & Entertainment: Adobe, AJA Video Systems, Autodesk, Avid, Caustic Graphics, Cineform, Elemental, Grass Valley, Matrox, Sony

  • Manufacturing & Engineering: Altair, Ansys, Autodesk, Bentley, CNC Software, Dassault, MSC Software, PTC, Siemens PLM Software, SpaceClaim

  • Scientific: Barco, Dynamic Graphics, esri, ffA, Landmark, National Instruments, NDSSi, Parallels, Presagis, Schlumberger

  • Banking & Finance: Aqumin

Dell Precision customers face challenging requirements in order to deliver against their demanding jobs. They look to Dell as a trusted advisor for guidance on which system to purchase and assurance that it has been designed and tested for their specific applications and workflows. We work closely with ISV and IHV partners to deliver a great experience and unlock the power of the complete solution: hardware and software.

Beyond testing and certifying, we work closely with our technology partners to provide customers with recommended configurations for their key applications and workflows. These configurations are highlighted on Dell’s various solution pages on dell.com and through the Dell Precision Workstation Advisor to ensure customers know the right system and configuration for their workflow. Well before any certification or recommendations are complete, Dell works closely with our partners to drive innovation and performance. We conduct joint roadmap planning, architecture, development and testing to iron out any kinks before bringing our products to market and provide our customers with the best possible experience.
