How dependent is the relationship between IT and the retail market?

After attending the National Retail Federation (NRF) Annual Conference a few weeks ago, it was clear that the world of intelligent displays that can tailor cosmetics offerings based upon your age and skin type, digital signs that can display graphics based upon your demographics, and connected kiosks are no longer reserved for futuristic movies.

Our OEMs in this space are building more complex solutions for retail organizations catering to the connected consumer.  As a whole, the retail space has greatly evolved from manikins and inventory management software into a vertical focused on technology.
