Autonomous operations (AO) enable IT systems to analyze data, improve performance, remediate issues, run more efficiently and adapt dramatically. As Magi Kapoor, director of product management at Dell Technologies, discusses in our third episode, AO is top of mind for many CIOs and data center managers. Organizations expect AO to help them free talented people from routine tasks so they can focus on innovation. As they use AO to perform remediation, discovery, provisioning, detection and notification tasks, they are also able to keep up with business growth, reduce costs, and keep the systems secure.

IT environments are rapidly growing and becoming more complex. That makes it more urgent for us to deliver AO so companies can continue on their digital transformation journeys. Magi explains how we’re evolving Dell EMC CloudIQ, our AI Ops SaaS solution to make the experience even better for organizations. Today, IT managers can already rely on CloudIQ to identify an issue, perform remediation and resolve it. However, organizations have many systems that they use within their day-to-day activities. That’s why we’ve made it even easier to use CloudIQ data by pushing notifications automatically through collaboration tools like Teams or Slack. This allows IT to surface issues up which can often be automated to a point where a single button press within that collaboration environment can kickoff remediation activities.
