How to Collect DDMC (Data Domain Management Center) Support Bundle on version 2.0.x and above

Instructions

The information below shows the steps needed to collect a support bundle on Data Domain Management Center (DDMC) versions 2.0 and above.
 
  1. Log in to DDMC GUI using web browser
  2. Click on the settings gear icon in the upper right hand side of the screen (Fig. 1)
  3. For DDMC versions 2.0-7.6:
    1. Once the setting screen is seen, go to the left hand menu, looks under the System heading and click on "Support" (Fig. 2)
    2. Click on the "Support Bundles" tab on the top of the screen and click "Generate Support Bundle" (Fig. 3)
  4. For DDMC versions 7.7 and higher:
    1. Click on "Support Bundles" in the dropdown menu that appears after clicking on the gear icon (Fig. 4)
    2. Click on "Generate DDMC Support Bundle" in the pane that appears (Fig. 5)
  5. Once the support bundle is generated, please download it to your PC and upload to the required Service Request on the Dell EMC support portal or to a temporary FTP site as provided by a support technician
