What is happening to Quick Resource Locator?
As of October 2024, the Dell Technologies Quick Resource Locator (QRL) website is shut down and the content migrated to the Dell Support Site. The QRL app is no longer available and has been removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Where did the content go?
The QRL website and QRL application content have been migrated to the Dell Support Site. QRL content can be found by:
- Visiting the Dell Support Site, enter product identifier (Service Tag) or model of your system in the Identify your product or search support section. Or select your system from the Browse All Products.
- Look up PowerEdge Error Codes by reviewing the Dell Technologies 17G, 16G, 15G, 14G, and 13G PowerEdge Servers Error and Event Messages Reference Guide or the Dell Technologies iDRAC Error and Event Messages Reference Guide. For all other products, lookup Error Code by reviewing the Documentation for your product model
- Look up iDRAC9 Attributes in the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 Attribute Registry or for additional Support for Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 (iDRAC9).
Did all the content migrate?
Yes, all the QRL content migrated to the Dell Support Site.
Does the QRL on the system still work?
Yes, scanning the on the box QRL QR code loads the Dell Support Site for the scanned model providing the same content.
- Scan of the model QRL QR code on the system information label loads the Dell Support Site product page providing installation, setup, service, and instructional knowledge base articles, manuals, and videos for the scanned model.

- Scan of the Express Service Tag label QRL directly from the pullout luggage tag loads the Dell Support Site product page for the scanned Service Tag. For serialized products that are permission-based, sign in with a corporate account will be required.
