Symptoms

Le commutateur a redémarré en raison de l’erreur suivante :

Processor rebooted - Software Fault:ASSERT

 

Cause

Le « Software Fault :ASSERT » est un problème logiciel et il s’est produit sur CP1 (précédemment actif), il a basculé vers l’autre CP 0 (veille précédente)
Le problème était dans les services de routage, un pointeur null a été reçu lors de la tentative de récupération des données.

Resolution

Un défaut logiciel dans les services de routage a provoqué la panne en heurtant le défaut Brocade DEFECT000440968.
Le correctif pour ce problème consiste à mettre à niveau le commutateur vers FOS 7.4.x et versions ultérieures.
