Symptoms

Lo switch è stato riavviato a causa del seguente errore:

Processor rebooted - Software Fault:ASSERT

 

Cause

Il "Software Fault:ASSERT" è un problema software e si è verificato sul CP1 (attivo precedente) ha effettuato il failover sull'altro CP 0 (standby precedente)
Il problema era nei servizi di routing, è stato ricevuto un puntatore null durante il tentativo di recuperare i dati.

Resolution

L'errore è stato causato da un difetto software nei servizi di routing, che ha colpito il difetto Brocade DEFECT000440968.
La correzione del problema consiste nell'aggiornare lo switch a FOS 7.4.x e versioni successive.
