Instructions
Obtaining a replacement key for a Dell PowerEdge server or PowerVault Storage device that has a factory-installed lock:
Contact Dell: See the online form link below.
There should be a number on the face of the lock that starts with DLxx (where xx represents two digits). When engaging support, provide the lock number, some additional information, and the Service Tag. The Service Tag is a five or seven character alphanumeric code printed on a barcode on the back of the server. It may also be listed as the serial number.
