Symptoms

Opdracht van client symcli naar EEM-server symcli mislukt met foutmelding "A remote send or receive operation failed".

Er worden geen symapi.log gegenereerd op client symcli.

Einde van server gecontroleerd en volgende invoer in storsrvd.log gevonden: 
<Info > [7791 Listener] Sep-23 11:29:50.196 : New client connection received
<Info > [7791 Conn-7] Sep-23 11:29:50.196 : Connection received from host !Local!
<Info > [7791 Conn-7] Sep-23 11:29:50.196 : Received control msg: Authorize [0] - rights: ffffffff, [PRIVUSER] 'root'
Het bovenstaande logboek geeft aan dat de clientverbinding met succes is ontvangen, maar dat de opdrachten nog steeds mislukken bij de bovenstaande fout.

Pingen van clientsymcli naar server-IP is geslaagd.

Cause

Kan niet communiceren met de client om symcli te verbreken.

Resolution

Zorg ervoor dat poort 2707 open is. Zodra poort 2707 is geopend, kunnen opdrachten met succes worden uitgevoerd.
