Symptoms

  • NetWorker NVP(VMware Protection) vProxy 어플라이언스를 통해 VM 복원이 수행되고 있습니다.
  • 저장된 복구 로그는 다음 아래의 NetWorker 서버에서 사용할 수 있습니다.
    • Linux: /nsr/logs/recover
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\logs\recover
  • 복구에 사용되는 vProxy 어플라이언스에는 다음 아래의 복구 로그도 포함됩니다.
    • /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/vrecoverd
    • /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/recycle/vrecoverd/
  • "5037 - 불법 작업"으로 복구가 실패했습니다.

Cause

NetWorker 서버는 Data Domain을 완전히 해결할 수 있습니다. 하지만 VM을 복원하는 데 사용되는 vProxy 어플라이언스는 사용할 수 없습니다.

Resolution

vProxy 어플라이언스에서 Data Domain을 확인할 수 있는지 확인합니다. 
nslookup address
 
참고: FQDN, 단축 이름 및 IP 주소가 모두 해결됩니다.

DNS를 통해 Data Domain을 확인할 수 없는 경우 Data Domain 시스템의 IP 주소, FQDN 및 단축 이름이 포함된 /etc/hosts 파일 항목을 vProxy에 생성합니다.
 
참고: 또한 VProxy가 상주하는 ESXi 호스트에서 Data Domain을 확인하여 파일 레벨 복구 및 즉각적인 복구를 수행해야 합니다.
 
DNS를 통해 Data Domain을 확인할 수 없는 경우 Data Domain 시스템의 IP 주소, FQDN 및 단축 이름이 포함된 ESXi 호스트에 /etc/hosts 파일 항목을 생성합니다.
