Symptoms

I PPDM, når du prøver å kjøre en oppdagelse av en Microsoft SQL Server-ressurs, kan søket mislykkes med følgende feil: 
ADA0002: Unable to discover ASSETS on host  because of an agent issue.
Unable to perform applications discovery because agent failed to create the discovery session.
Eller 
ASDS0018: Discovery of Assets failed on the host  for AddOn MICROSOFT_SQL_DATABASE_SYSTEM.

I loggen DPSApps\AgentService\logs\OpAgentSvc* logges følgende feil: 
ErrCode: -2147467259, Error: SSL Provider: The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.

Cause

Feilen er forårsaket fordi "Force protocol encryption" er aktivert på SQL Native Client-konfigurasjonen under SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Resolution

Følg trinnene nedenfor for å løse problemet:

  1. Åpne SQL Server Configuration Manager
  2. Høyreklikk på SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration (Konfigurasjon av OPPRINNELIG SQL-klient 11.0), og velg egenskaper.
  3. Sett Force Protocol Encryption-verdien til No (Nei), og velg OK.
  4. Utfør de samme trinnene for konfigurasjon av sql native client 11.0 (32-biters)
  5. Start SQL Server på nytt
  6. Når SQL-serveren er oppe og kjører, kjører du Oppdaging fra PPDM-grensesnittet.

Noen ganger kan det være nødvendig å avregistrere eller avinstallere agenten og installere den på nytt for at søket skal fungere.
