There might be cases that the user mistriggers the stealth mode by pressing the F9 key unknowingly. This turns off the display and all LEDs, which leads to the user contacting Dell to report no POST, no power, or no display.

Cause

The user presses the F9 key and enters OS Stealth Mode. This may be intentional or done by mistake, but they do not restore back to default mode. This causes the display and all LEDs to be turned off.

Resolution

Have user press the F9 key to verify if the computer is in Rugged Stealth Mode.
