Symptoms

In PowerProtect Data Manager 19.14/19.15, i backup del file system potrebbero avere esito negativo con l'errore:

ABF0001: Unable to protect the asset <Drive> on the host <Server> from the backup performed at time <DATE> <TIME> because the following error occurred: 

Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<nn>.

Cause

Si tratta di un problema nella versione DDBOOST utilizzata nel File System Agent 19.14/19.15.

Resolution

Dell Technologies consiglia agli utenti di eseguire l'upgrade a versioni di PowerProtect Data Manager successive alla 19.16.0-15.
