Symptoms

В PowerProtect Data Manager 19.14/19.15 резервное копирование файловой системы может завершаться сбоем с ошибкой:

ABF0001: Unable to protect the asset <Drive> on the host <Server> from the backup performed at time <DATE> <TIME> because the following error occurred: 

Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<nn>.

В журнале файловой системы агента отображается следующее:

PowerProtect Data Manager notice BuiltStream read request total bytes to read = <value>

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to write data into multiple buffers for save-set ID '<SaveSetID>': Invalid argument (errno=22) 

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<Value>

Cause

Это проблема в версии DDBOOST, используемой в агенте файловой системы 19.14/19.15.

Resolution

Dell Technologies рекомендует пользователям выполнить обновление PowerProtect Data Manager до версий, выпущенных позже 19.16.0-15.
