Symptoms

No PowerProtect Data Manager 19.14/19.15, os backups do file system podem falhar com o erro:

ABF0001: Unable to protect the asset <Drive> on the host <Server> from the backup performed at time <DATE> <TIME> because the following error occurred: 

Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<nn>.

O registro do file system do agente mostra o seguinte:

PowerProtect Data Manager notice BuiltStream read request total bytes to read = <value>

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to write data into multiple buffers for save-set ID '<SaveSetID>': Invalid argument (errno=22) 

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<Value>

Cause

Esse é um problema na versão do DDBOOST usada no File System Agent 19.14/19.15.

Resolution

A Dell Technologies recomenda que os usuários façam upgrade para versões do PowerProtect Data Manager posteriores à 19.16.0-15.
