EMS-loggplasseringen ble flyttet i Dell Data Protection | Kryptering 8.3.0 fra C:\ProgramData\Credant\EMS\Logs to C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Encryption. Installasjonsprogrammet for Windows kan imidlertid fortsatt ha den forrige plasseringen bufret. Hvis mappen C:\ProgramData\Credant\EMS\Logs slettes manuelt, MSIexec forsøk på å reparere mappen når brukeren høyreklikker på en fil i Windows Utforsker.

Slik stopper du MSIExec fra å prøve å reparere Dell Data Protection | Krypteringsinstallasjon, opprett mappen C:\ProgramData\Credant\EMS\Logs på nytt.
