Dell VxRail Deployment Planning Guide
Install VxRail hardware
Review planning material and go to SolVe Online for VxRail to rack your VxRail and connect to your network.
Before you install your hardware, perform the following:
- Use the Dell Enterprise Infrastructure Planning Tool to capture the data center physical and power requirements for the VxRail nodes.
- Review the VxRail Network Planning Guide, including Appendix A: VxRail Network Configuration Table and Appendix C: VxRail Setup Checklist to verify that the network is configured.
Go to SolVe Online to generate the hardware installation procedure (rack and stack) . Do not power on your node until you are directed to do so in the SolVe Online hardware installation (rack and stack) procedure.
Review all steps in the hardware installation procedure, including cabling information, installation overviews, and site requirements.
