The Active Directory Granular Recovery provides multiple search options to select the objects at granular level.
When performing the recovery operation the
Object Search pane displays the selected attribute columns along with the default attribute columns. From the
Object Search you must click
Add to select the objects that you want to recover.
The
Add Items page provides the following search options:
The AD displays the domain and the related containers on the left pane. When you choose a container you can see the list of related objects on the right pane.
Using the
Search field enter the Distinguish Name (DN), Object Type or Object Name. Click
Search this will automatically create a query and list the objects relevant to your query.
Using the
Query field perform a query using LDAP filter syntax. For example,
(&(name=*john*)(ObjectClass=user)).
