Configure the client to boot into Directory Services Restore Mode
Before you recover the Active Directory from disaster-recovery data, configure the client to boot into Directory Services Restore Mode (DSRM).
Steps
- Run the msconfig command. The System Configuration window appears.
- On the Boot tab, select Safe boot, and then select Active Directory repair.
- Click OK.
- Restart the computer into Directory Services Restore Mode (DSRM).
