Removing the Driving Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer
  2. Remove:
    1. Battery

    2. Hard Drive

    3. Optical Drive

    4. Bottom Cover

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Peel the adhesive tape [1].
    2. Disconnect the display assembly cable [2].
    3. Peel the adhesive tape [3].
    4. Disconnect the I/O cable [4]
    5. Remove the screws that secure the driving board to the computer [5]
    6. Lift the driving board from the computer [6].
