Removing the Storage Connector

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer
  2. Remove:
    1. Battery

    2. Hard Drive

    3. Optical Drive

    4. Bottom Cover

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Lift the locking tab [1].
    2. Disconnect the storage connector cable [2].
    3. Remove the screw that secures the storage connector [3].
    4. Lift the storage connector from the computer [4].
