Removing the memory module

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand

    2. back cover

    3. system-board shield

  3. Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops-up. Lift and remove the memory module from its connector. Figure displaying the removal of the memory module.
