Start the performance database before starting the SMAS service. In the same way, stop the SMAS service before stopping the performance database.

To start or stop the performance database (PostgreSQL) in Linux, go to this directory: install_dir/SMAS/jboss/standalone/data/pgsql and use the following commands:
