Removing the coin-cell battery
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
- Remove the SD card
- Remove the base cover
- Disconnect the battery cable
Steps
- Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the I/O board [1].
- Peel the coin-cell battery from the palm rest and keyboard assembly [2].
