Removing the display cable

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the SD card
  3. Remove the base cover
  4. Disconnect the battery cable
  5. Remove the WLAN
  6. Remove the system fan
  7. Remove the heatsink
  8. Remove the display assembly
  9. Remove the display bezel
  10. Remove the display panel
  11. Remove the display hinges

Steps

  1. Disconnect the camera cable from the camera module [1].
  2. Peel the adhesive that secures the camera cable [2].
  3. Lift the camera cable and the display cable off the display back-cover and antenna assembly [3].
