Removing the WLAN card
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
- Remove the SD memory card
- Remove the base cover
- Disconnect the battery cable.
Steps
- Remove the single (M2x3) screw that secures the WLAN card bracket to the system board [1].
- Slide and remove the WLAN card bracket that secures the WLAN cables [2].
- Disconnect the WLAN cables from the connectors on the WLAN card [3].
- Lift the WLAN card away from the connector [4].
