Description

Sets the name of the chassis.

To use this subcommand, you must have the Administrator privilege.

  • NOTE: The special characters " (double quote), ` (back quote), & (ampersand), > (greater than), < (less than), and \ (backslash) are not supported for this subcommand.

Synopsis 

racadm setchassisname <
                                                name>
  • NOTE: Chassis name is a maximum of 64 unextended ASCII characters.

Example 

racadm setchassisname dellchassis-1
The chassis name was set successfully.
