Symptome
Power Banks that are produced between January 04 and March 15, 2017 may have an incomplete end cap weld
Power Bank Adapter production from January 4, 2017, through to March 15, 2017 may have incomplete end cap welds. This can allow the end cap to separate in normal use. If the end cap comes off, you could reach into the housing and touch internal components. If the adapter is connected to power, then a shock could result.
There have been no (zero) reported safety incidents resulting from this issue.

A voluntary replacement program is in place
Dell is offering a voluntary replacement of affected adapters.
Note: It is important to note, that this replacement program is for the Adapter piece only. Upon receipt of the replacement, you must return your original affected adapter. You must retain your original Power bank and cables, as these parts will not be provided.

The Field Quality Management (FQM) Execution team in coordination with the Technology Service Management (TSM) teams are proactively reaching out to affected customers. To offer this solution through a proactive field replacement campaign.
Several methods of outreach may be employed at any point throughout the life of this program:

- Automated Email
- Direct Mail

You can check the product bulletin website, www.dellproduct.com, to determine your eligibility for a replacement.
You will need the PPID from the Adapter.
Note: An error will occur if you include spaces, dashes, or additional characters. You will not need to enter the final 3 characters of AXX
