Kun Exchange ActiveSync -hallinta määritetään EAS-määritystyökalulla samalla, kun Exchange ActiveSync -verkkosovellus on määritetty toimimaan IIS Classic -tilassa, ilmenee käytäntöviestintävirheitä ja näyttöön tulee seuraava sanoma:

"Failed to add the OTASync module declaration."

Resolution

Voit kiertää tämän ongelman käyttämällä mahdollisuuksien mukaan integroitua IIS-tilaa.

Vaihtoehtoisesti voit korjata ongelman muokkaamalla tiedostoja web.config ja EASMailboxManager.exe.config .

Huomautus: Varo erityisesti korvaamasta configsectionia<>, jos sellainen on olemassa, vaan lisää sen sijaan OTASync config-osio olemassa olevan <configSection-osan> sisällä. Samaa varovaisuutta tulisi noudattaa httpModules-osion <> kanssa.

         <add name="OTASyncControl" type="Credant.OTASync.OTASyncModule, OTASyncControl, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5d874789881803c4" />
</httpModules>

in the EASMailboxManager.exe.config file, under <configuration> add the following:
   <configSections>
           <section name="ExchangeManagementConfig" type="Credant.ExchangeManagement.ExchangeManagementConfigSection,
 EASMailboxManager"/>
    </configSections>
    <ExchangeManagementConfig>
          <ServiceSettings startupdelay="5" />
          <PolicyProxies pollinginterval="1">
                <PolicyProxy address="localhost" port="8090"/>
