Symptoms

파일 시스템 백업이 실패하고 "Invalid client parallelism parameter"가 표시됩니다.

작업 로그에는 다음이 표시됩니다.     
181407:save: Step (1 of 5) for PID-4412: Save has been started on the client 'Incorrect_Client_Hostname'.
174412:save: Step (2 of 5) for PID-4412: Running the backup on the client 'Incorrect_Client_Hostname' for the save set 'pseudo_saveset'.
182135:save: Unable to determine the hostname or host alias.
133075:save: new_sdthreadparam_from_path: Invalid client parallelism parameter.
113706:save: save: Call to new_sdthreadparam_from_path to create sd_param is unsuccessful.

Actual_Client_Hostname:pseudo_saveset: retried 4 times.

Cause

DNS 확인 문제가 있는 경우 Unable to determine hostname of client가 표시됩니다. NetWorker의 클라이언트 속성에 잘못된 클라이언트 병렬 처리가 설정되어 있으면 Invalid client parallelism paramter가 반환됩니다.

Resolution

1. NetWorker Server와 클라이언트 모두에서 클라이언트에 대한 DNS 확인을 확인합니다. 정방향(FQDN), 역방향 및 짧은 이름 확인이 올바르게 반환되어야 합니다. 이 작업은 OS nslookup 명령을 사용하여 수행됩니다. 그러나 nsrports 또한 사용할 수 있습니다.
nsrports -tclient_name

예:

[root@nw_server ~]# nsrports -t client
Forward lookup for client
Query time:              0.001 sec
Canonical name (CNAME):  client.domain.com
Address (A):             10.0.0.10
Connect to port 7938:    Succeeded (0.000 sec)

Reverse lookup for 10.0.0.10

참고: nsrports 명령은 포트 7938의 클라이언트 포트 연결성도 확인합니다. 명령에 -p port #을 추가하여 다른 포트를 확인할 수 있습니다.

2. NMC에서 클라이언트 병렬 처리가 변경됩니다. 클라이언트 속성을 열고 "글로벌(1/2)" 탭으로 이동합니다.
