The symptom occurs during the process of initializing the operating system. After the machine has blue screened, the CMGShCEF.sys driver is listed as the cause along with a 0xDEADDEADDEAD error message.

Cause

When the computer is initializing, the operating system encounters a blue screen that lists the CMGShCEF.sys driver and the 0xDEADDEAD error message.

Resolution
