Instructions

Utworzenie warstwy pamięci podręcznej (lub dodanie dysku do istniejącej warstwy pamięci podręcznej) w trybie puli pamięci masowej, takiej jak DD6400, będzie wymagało atrybutu „force” w poleceniu „storage add” w celu ukończenia tworzenia woluminu pamięci podręcznej.  Bez atrybutu „force” w poleceniu „storage add” dysk pamięci podręcznej pozostaje w stanie „Available Disks (v)” i nie zostanie utworzona warstwa pamięci podręcznej, jak pokazano poniżej.  
  
MMM DD HH:MM:SS hostname> -ddsh: NOTICE: MSG-DDSH-00009: (tty=pts/0, session=4924, client_IP=XX.XX.XX.XX) sysadmin: command "storage add disks 1.3 tier cache"

Rozwiązanie:

Jeśli dysk pamięci podręcznej został dodany bez atrybutu „force”, a jego stan to „Available Disks (v)”, wykonaj następujące czynności:
1. Połącz się z systemem Data Domain przez SSH przy użyciu konta sysadmin.
2. Uruchom następujące polecenie: filesys expand

Spowoduje to utworzenie warstwy pamięci podręcznej, która będzie teraz wyświetlana podczas korzystania z polecenia storage show all
