PowerStore: FC 포트 플랩으로 인한 예기치 않은 노드 재부팅

Summary: RSCN(Registered State Change Notification)이 처리되는 동안 PowerStore 노드의 FC 드라이버에서 메모리 누수가 발생할 수 있습니다. 따라서 시스템에 조닝된 포트 및 노드 이름 목록을 반환하는 데 필요한 메모리가 예상대로 해제되지 않을 수 있습니다.

Symptoms

증상은 다음과 같습니다.

  • 예기치 않은 재부팅으로 인한 노드 패닉
  • FC 포트 플래핑으로 인한 커널 패닉(메모리 부족) OOM
  • 영향을 받는 호스트 HBA가 안정적인 연결을 얻을 수 없음
  • 호스트 측의 데이터 액세스 손실

 

Cause

SAN 패브릭에서 디바이스 상태가 변경되면(로그인/로그아웃) 스위치가 연결된 모든 디바이스에 RSCN 알림을 보냅니다.
PowerStore FC 드라이버는 PowerStore의 존에 있는 WWN을 쿼리하도록 스위치에 명령을 전송합니다.
메모리는 이러한 쿼리에 할당되지만 제대로 해제되지 않을 수 있습니다.

 

Resolution

PowerStoreOS 버전 3.5.x.x에서 해결된 문제

예기치 않은 재부팅 후 노드가 자동으로 복구됩니다.

 

Additional Information

결함이 있는 WWN을 식별하여 수정하거나 연결을 끊어야 합니다.
스위치 및 호스트 로그를 검토하여 문제의 원인을 확인합니다.
포트 플래핑의 가능한 원인으로는 느슨하거나 더러운 FC 케이블, 스위치 포트 결함, SFP 결함, 호스트 HBA 또는 호스트 HBA 드라이버/펌웨어가 있습니다.
호스트 HBA 드라이버/펌웨어 호환성을 확인해야 합니다.

포트 플래핑의 예로, 포트 상태가 온라인에서 오프라인으로 변경되었습니다.
