PowerEdge: How To Use the Log Collector Tool

Instructions
The Log Collector Tool is used to collect all the logs from Switches, Servers, and Operating System.
Steps to collect logs for Azure Stack HCI, AX solution, S2D, and Spaces Direct on PowerEdge.
- Run
LogCollectorin the affected server.
- Accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) and introduce the Service Request (SR) number.
- From the options available, select the product to collect:
- Option 1: SDDC
- Option 2: TSR
- Option 3: (optional) - For network related OR performance issues, use option 3.
- Switch logs from TOR switches or manually run switch command:
show tech-support
Any Other Windows Server System (Not AzureStack HCI, S2D, or Spaces Direct)
TSSLogCollect is highly automated and automatically gathers:
- Recent
Memory.dmpfiles in the system. - Contents of
C:\windows\minidumps folder - Appropriate TSS bundle based in the roles installed in the system.
Steps:
- Run
LogCollectorin the affected server.
- Accept EULA and introduce the SR number.
- From the options available, select the product to collect:
- Option 2: TSR
- Option 4: TSS

- Select "Y" for the question Start the collection:
- If a recent
memory.dmpfile is detected, it also gets collected:

- At the end of the execution, a message window shows the path where the logs are available:
