[PowerScale] PowerScale Archive and Hybrid nodes reporting a spurious external power fault

Summary: PowerScale Archive and Hybrid nodes are occasionally reporting an external power supply fault, however no external issues with power have occurred.

Symptoms

PowerScale Archive or Hybrid model nodes (A300/A3000/H700/H7000) reports a pair of External Faults on a node power supply:

Other nodes in the same rack do not report an issue. Checking data center power, there are no issues with the power supplied to the rack. The event does not cause an outage, and the nodes remains online.

Cause

The power supply manufacturer has determined this is a firmware issue.

Resolution

The message does not indicate a hardware issue and can be ignored. Replacing the power supply does not resolve the issue. Updated firmware to resolve the issue is available in Node Firmware Package (NFP) 13.1.3 and above.
