Data Domain File System (DDFS) kan opnieuw worden opgestart met segfault of paniek met malloc-fout tijdens dataverplaatsing naar Cloud Tier
Dit probleem is van toepassing op alle DDOS 7.7.0.x releases en de oplossing is opgenomen in DDOS 7.7.1.0 en latere versies

System will report either of following message and ALERT  if DDFS restarts with PANIC  error

PANIC: lib/../include/dlist.h: _dl_first: 828: !(list->count != 0)

Dell Technologies heeft een codedefect vastgesteld in de functie voor dataverplaatsing in de cloud, waardoor DDFS opnieuw wordt opgestart met bovenstaande SEGFAULT- of PANIC-fout.

Om te voorkomen dat DDFS opnieuw wordt opgestart tijdens verplaatsing van cloud tier data, kunt u een upgrade naar DDOS 7.7.1.10 of hoger, 7.7.2.0.10 of hoger, 7.8.0.20 of hoger overwegen

Stappen:

1. Clouddataverplaatsingsproces onderbreken # dataverplaatsing stop # status               van dataverplaatsing2. Start file system               # filesys opnieuw op     3. Controleer of het bestandssysteem is ingeschakeld               #filesys status              4. Upgrade het systeem naar DDOS 7.7.1.10 of hoger, 7.7.2.0.10 of hoger, 7.8.0.20 of hoger.
