Symptom

Na een upgrade naar 5.3 kan Support Assist met SCG (Gateway Server) niet worden ingeschakeld. De volgende fout wordt weergegeven:
 
Bewerking mislukt. Foutcode:
0x6400bee Kan de bewerking niet uitvoeren omdat Connect Home niet is geconfigureerd. (Foutcode: 0x6400bee)

In cemtracer_emcsupport.log worden de volgende fouten weergegeven:

Wanneer u connecthome handmatig probeert uit te schakelen, wordt de volgende fout weergegeven: 
svc_connectemc --disable --nodbupdate
INFO [spa]: Verifying peer connectivity ...
ERROR [spa]: Email (ConnectEMC) not configured.

Er is geen "from" e-mailadres geconfigureerd: 
uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail
Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

1:    Enabled             = yes
      SMTP server         = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
      E-mail from address = (none)@emc.com  

Orsak

Om Support Assist in 5.3 in te schakelen, moet Connectemc een "from" e-mailadres hebben.

Upplösning

Volg deze stappen om een dummy afzenderadres in te voeren en Support Assist te configureren:
  1. Verkrijg de huidige SMTP-server met "uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail"
  2. Configureer connecthome opnieuw met een dummy --sendermail: 
    svc_connectemc --enable  --sendermail test@test.com
  3. Support Assist configureren met SCG
