Dell EMC iDRAC Service Module 3.1 User’s Guide

Installing the iDRAC Service Module using SSH or Local Command Shell

  1. Copy the ISO file to either the Citrix XenServer host or a remote ISO library share mounted to the host. Consult Citrix XenServer documentation for further details. .
  2. Install the supplemental pack: $ xe-install-supplemental-pack < iDRACServiceModule -supplemental-pack-filename>.iso
    • NOTE: Invalid signature while installing Supplemental pack (Update package): If the error “Invalid Signature” occurs during the iDRAC Service Module supplemental pack installation, the proper Dell GPG Key does not exist in the host signature database. This is possible on Citrix XenServer 7.1 installation and the key must first be manually imported to each host. For more information about importing DELL GPG keys to Citrix XenServer 7.1, see Importing DELL GPG keys to Citrix XenServer .
