Removing the WWAN card

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
    3. antenna routing bracket
  3. To remove the WWAN card:
    1. Peel the tape that secures the antenna cable [1].
    2. Disconnect the antenna cable from the WWAN card [2].
    3. Remove the screw that secures the WWAN card [3].
    4. Slide the card out of the card connector on the system board and remove it [4].
