Removing the USH board

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
  3. To remove the USH board:
    1. Disconnect the USH board cables from the connectors [1, 2, 3].
    2. Remove the screws that secure the USH board [4].
    3. Lift and flip the board at an angle to access the smart card cable that is underneath the board [5].
    4. Disconnect the smart card cable and release the USH board from the computer chassis [6].
    5. Remove the USH board from the computer.
