Removing the SIM board

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
    3. docking board
    4. heatsink
  3. To remove the SIM board:
    1. Disconnect the SIM board cable by lifting the release tab [1].
    2. Remove the screws that secure the SIM board to the computer [2].
    3. Lift and remove the SIM board from the computer [3].
