Removing the system board

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
   1. battery
   2. base cover
   3. docking board
   4. USH board
   5. MEMS board
   6. hard drive
   7. battery cable
   8. card bracket
   9. memory module
   10. antenna routing bracket
   11. WLAN card
   12. WWAN card
   13. heatsink
   14. battery connector
   15. SIM Board
   16. keyboard
   17. display cable
3. Disconnect the ribbon cables from the system board [1, 2, 3, 4].
   
4. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
   1. LED cable [1]
   2. coin cell battery cable [2]
   3. speaker cable [3]
   4. power connector cable [4]
   5. touch pad cable [5]
   
5. To remove the system board:
   1. Remove the epoxy screws that secure the DisplayPort to the computer chassis [1].
   2. Remove the screws that secure the system board [2].
   3. Slide and lift the system board from the computer chassis [3].
